We played in the 18th Annual Ronald McDonald House Golf Tournament on Tuesday. It was a 2-man scramble, and we were paired with Mark and Dave. Mark scored a "hole-in-one" on our third hole of the day! It was a perfect shot...he placed it just four feet to the right of the cup, and the ball slowly rolled in. I'd never seen a "hole-in-one" before...VERY cool! Mike and I ended up winning low gross in our flight -- a major accomplishment considering that I "retired" from golf 2 years ago, and hadn't placed since. We took home $200 in gift certificates from Banbury Golf Club, which, unfortunately, means that I'm probably going to have to play again some time soon. The other two in our foursome, Mark and Dave, also ended up winning their flight. And, most importantly, RMH raised nearly $70,000 to help the families of critically ill and injured children.
