La Cucina
We stayed at Club Intrawest on Playa La Ropa. Our room was amazing...2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living area, kitchenette and 2 sundecks...including a hammock and dip pool on one of the sundecks. We loved the open air shower in one of the bathrooms. There are no elevators at Club Intrawest and, since it is built on the side of a hill, you need to climb stairs to get to the roadway, the pools and the beach...but it allows for a superb layout of rooms offering each room privacy with open air settings and views of the ocean. It was a great place to stay on Zihua's best beach...Playa La Ropa.

And just up the road from where Katie and I stayed, in fact we drove past it each time we came or went from our more humble hotel.
